Theatre lovers, you’re in for a treat! May 15 through 19, the annual Theatre Ontario Festival brings a showcase of outstanding community theatre productions to the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. Four plays will be performed over the four-evening run. Companies who will be performing include the Bloor West Village Players from Toronto, Gore Bay Theatre from Northeastern Ontario, Domino Theatre from Kingston and Theatre Sarnia from Southwestern Ontario. Of interest, well-known Richmond Hill-born actor R.H. Thomson is the festival’s honorary chair. It’s all just a short drive from Avenue Towns!
