Richmond Hill Winter Carnival—save the date

Every year, Richmond Hill celebrates winter with a grand carnival of ice carving, hockey tournaments, live music, pancake breakfasts, hot chocolate, pony rides and a coveted chance to meet the gala’s mascot, Ookpik. Ookpik’s a much-loved mythical owl who strides around the fair, stopping for photos with visitors. This year the carnival happens on February 2 and 3 at the Mill Pond Park at Mill Street and Trench Street, Richmond Hill. Did we mention there’ll be a wing-eating contest, dog trick shows, a road hockey tournament or a big-foot race? Put February 2 and 3 in your calendar now. Just a short drive from Avenue Towns!
