If you’re a youngster from Grades 2 to 8, you’re in luck! This Saturday, January 25, the STEAM Project at 561 Edward St. in Richmond Hill is holding a “build your own mouse vehicle” workshop. Once you’ve created the perfect vehicle, you’ll race them against other kids. The whole event is designed as a celebration of Chinese New Year, which this year is “Year of the Mouse”, also known as “Year of the Rat”. The STEAM Project’s Youth Makerspace Campus is the perfect place for kids who love to build or take things apart. Robotics, electronics, woodworking, 3D printing…with access to things like this, kids can make just about anything! Classes are taught by Ontario Certified High School teachers.
